We are here to help you find the support and guidance you need in a safe and comfortable environment. Our experienced counselors specialize in a variety of areas, including anxiety, depression, and trauma.
All of these services are provided in the office, over the phone (teletherapy) and virtually through Zoom.
Choices employs a team of specialized virtual therapists that are trained in this specific form of treatment. This team has worked diligently to adapt evidence-based approaches such as CBT, EMDR and Solution Focused Therapy to a virtual format. Many clients say it is just as effective or even more effective than in office sessions. We are dedicated to providing personalized care for each of our clients in every form and are committed to ongoing training and education to stay up to date on the latest research and techniques.
At Choices Clinical Counseling, we are dedicated to providing superior counseling services to individuals battling mental health challenges. As the methods used to provide psychotherapy services continue to evolve, we have adapted as well. Since COVID-19, online therapy and over the phone (teletherapy) has become a great option because of its convenience and accessibility.
Insurance reimburses for this service and actually encourage it in some instances. We offer this virtual option to continue to meet the needs of our clients. in order to continue our philosophy of standout services we have specifically hired therapists that specialize in virtual treatment.
Some think they need to be tech savvy to receive online therapy. That is just not so, as we also have sessions over the phone. It is as simple as answering your phone. Your therapist will call you at the time of the appointment and do the session via teletherapy. This is just one more option to help you achieve your mental health goals.
At the writing of this page 17 studies have shown virtual therapy to be just as effective as in-person sessions. The evidence is in and virtual therapy is here to stay.
" Choices is a family-owned practice and we take pride in what we do. I can personally assure you that you are more than a number. Your health and mental well-being matter to us. There are many corporate options for online therapy but few family owned and operated practices like Choices. We have carefully hired well and only take the absolute best therapists. Now expanding into a wider market for virtual care, we pledge to continue the small practice feel and care while we help more people. Which was the goal from day one."

You will receive the same quality of care as in-person therapy. Keep in mind that while you are seeing a therapist online or over the phone, they are part of a group that was founded on face-to-face therapy and continues this approach. We have a home office and continue in person sessions.
All therapists in person and online at Choices receive weekly supervision and leadership from our highly trained supervisory clinical staff. Rest assured, you are in good hands whether in person or virtually.
Online therapy and teletherapy is great for people with a busy schedule.
Whether you do your session in the car, at home or on your lunch break, virtual therapy is there when you need it most. Virtual therapy will help you meet your personal and professional goals, and to improve your overall quality of life.

Adults that have limited time on their work break can do the session via cell phone or zoom. This can be done in their office or car. No matter the situation the convenience of virtual therapy cannot be denied.
Our team of experienced counselors use virtual evidence-based techniques, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR and mindfulness practices, to help our clients overcome negative thought patterns and behaviors.
