 Many practices can advertise higher hourly rates for 10/99 Independent Contractors, but these can be misleading once you account for the added risks, poor communication within the organization, increased responsibilities, taxes involved and a lack of adequate clients to maintain a full caseload.

Your Responsibilities

• Outpatient Therapy: An outpatient mental health therapist assesses, diagnoses, and treats individuals with mental health challenges in an outpatient setting. This includes providing individual therapy sessions, developing treatment plans, and conducting thorough intake assessments to support clients in managing their mental health concerns through various therapeutic techniques while maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines.

• Client Assessment: Evaluate clients' needs, situations, strengths, and support networks to determine their goals.

• Psychological Support: Assist clients in adjusting to life challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, illness, divorce, or phobias. 

• Clinical Documentation:  Complete notes and ongoing administrative responsibilities in a timely manner. 

• Clinical Interventions: Utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, EMDR, Client-Centered Approach, and Mindfulness to address client needs.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling.

• Licensure: Professional licensure as LCSW, LPC, LAPC, LMFT or LSW.

• Passion for Innovation: Eagerness to leverage cutting-edge treatment strategies and technology to provide the best care.
