NOW ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS online and in person!
We are proud to introduce our experienced and highly trained clinical staff.
All Choices counselors possess the most important qualities you can ask for in a therapist: compassion, empathy, respect, and authenticity. These basic traits help to form a genuine, trusting relationship.
We understand that matching you with the right person can mean the difference between a successful therapeutic experience or a bad one. That is why we have counselors with a variety of therapeutic styles and personalities.
Therapeutic rapport refers to the empathic and shared understanding of issues between a therapist and a client. This means it is a team effort between therapist and client to work towards the best possible outcome.
Without this intrinsic element therapy is doomed to failure. Many therapists and counselors talk of advanced training and clinical experience while lacking the basic empathy and understanding that really motivates individuals.
This X factor quality is what Choices looks for in therapists- that intangible element that brings therapy to life. Anyone can read a book and apply the interventions, but it takes a true therapist to make it work.

Effective and advanced clinical therapy techniques can resolve symptoms related to depression, anxiety, and trauma.
As we work through the process, you will find your motivation increasing as you gain insight into yourself and your thinking process. You will begin to develop hope when you see a brighter future ahead.
Sleep issues clear up as the underlying causes are reduced, and you become more functional with the right amount of rest. When anxiety, trauma and depressive symptoms decrease you will be more effective at work and within relationships.
If you decide to work on trauma, you will gain long-lasting benefits as you rid yourself of negative memories that have been haunting you for years. This frees your mind to live a life of confidence and optimism.
You learn to reflect rather than react, which creates endless benefits in every social situation.
When therapy works, the benefits are hard to measure as your new frame of mind will affect every decision that you make. Take time for your most important organ, your brain.
We believe that a strong mental outlook and a healthy attitude can dramatically influence the trajectory of your life.
